Congratulations Mr. Ellis!!

The Olson Drama Club’s play is tonight at 4pm. An adaptation of Shakespeare’s, A Mid Summer Nights Dream. The students have built their own props, sewn their costumes and are excited to see their months of work finally coming to together. Thank you to the fabulous Mr. Ellis for leading this group!!

Hi everyone! Teacher appreciation is next week and a small group of us are pulling together some decorations and snacks to thank the staff that spend so much energy on our kids. If you have any interest in helping decorate or sponsor a day with snacks, it would be greatly appreciated. Some ideas were a popcorn bar, chips&salsa, pizza day, donuts, etc.
Shelf stable snacks can be dropped off with Ms Chu in the Olson office anytime. If you want to sponsor a specific day next week with fresh food, let us know and we’ll plan it out so treats are spread out throughout the week.
We’re planning to decorate the conference room in the office on Friday as soon as school ends. If you want to join us or drop off any decorations to make it feel festive. Thanks everyone!!

Conferences are next week!

The MPS School Board convenes for a Regular Business Meeting on Tuesday, October 10th at 5:30PM. This is one of many opportunities for us to advocate for our students. The Board hears comments from 25 community members at the beginning of each meeting. Pre-registration happens at noon on Friday for 15 of the open slots. Ten of the slots are reserved for walk-ups the day of the meeting. For more specific information, visit the School Board website.
