House of Music Whether you want to write songs for yourself or you aspire to write songs for other artists, this master class will cover everything you need know to make that happen.

Charlie's Rock U high school band is looking for a drummer and guitarist who want to rock this spring! Practices are Tuesdays 6:00-7:00pm starting April 7th and the final concert is Sunday June 7th at the Bryant Lake Bowl. Info at https://lhhouseofmusic.com/classes.html

Seeking a couple 4th-8th graders who want to learn how to rock this winter! Charlie's Rock U beginner band needs guitar and bass. The band meets Mondays at 6:00-7:00pm starting January 5th. Email [email protected] to inquire!

Monday beginner band: guitar, bass, vocals
Tuesday high school band: keys
Wednesday intermediate band: keys
Thursday intermediate band: drums, bass
Bands practice in the garage one night a week January-March and will rock the Bryant Lake Bowl on Sunday March 8th!

Sadly, I thought I should pass on the news that the woman who started the House of Music way back in 2005, Cindy Smedberg, has passed away. I hadn't seen her in a while so I don't have any details about what happened. But I can tell you that as long as I've owned the House of Music, she was an ambassador and a supporter. Every time I did see her, she always thanked me for continuing to share music with people in our community and encouraged me to keep doing what I was doing. Thank you Cindy. She will be missed.

Tonight, Monday 10/27 at 8-9pm is an open house for Charlie's Groove Garden adult band. BYO guitar/bass. Come jam and see what it's like to join the band!
Spots are still open in the next session that meets Mondays 11/3-12/1 at 7-8pm and wraps with a gig at the Uptown VFW on Saturday 12/6.
