Everyone, please keep your devices and financial accounts safe. Do not respond to suspicious emails or texts from unofficial accounts and make sure you are typing your password on verified websites. Example: [email protected] is not real. Going to Apple's website (apple.com) will find official phone numbers that you can contact.

If you suspect anything is compromised, please come over to the Help Desk. Reset all passwords, and double check that your credit card information is safe. Do not give anyone money or account information.

You may have missed our email earlier this month about issues with Adobe Reactivation! Because we have gotten so many questions about your Adobe Subscription expiring, here was the email in full:

"Recently the MCAD Help Desk performed some maintenance on our active Adobe user database, and we’ve noticed that a small portion of users have started receiving error messages that their account access has expired. Please follow the steps below if you are experiencing CC software issues and it should resolve this problem. If after performing these actions you still cannot fully access the Adobe Creative Cloud software suite, email us at [email protected], phone at 612-874-2666, or visit us in the main building (319) on campus.

Adobe Reactivation Process
· Close any open Adobe error message and programs except for the Creative Cloud Desktop app (on macOS the CC Desktop app runs as a little cloud-like symbol in the menu bar at the upper right of your screen.)

· Click the CC Desktop app icon in the upper right on the menu bar and it should ask you to sign in. Type your short MCAD email address into the username field (ie. [email protected]) and tab in to or click the password field. At this point the software should try to redirect you to another page. If it asks you if you are trying to use an Adobe ID or an Enterprise ID, please select Enterprise to move on to the next step.

· The next page you should see is and MCAD branded login screen. On this page, please use your short MCAD username (ie. tstudent, without the .edu), and the same password that you would use to access MyMCAD or your MCAD Gmail account.

· Once you have successfully logged in you should be relicensed, however, we’ve mostly noticed this problem with users that have not been keeping their Adobe software fully up to date so the CC Desktop app may immediately start installing an update. Until this update is finished you will not be able to launch your Adobe software. This update should only take a few minutes if you have access to a decent internet connection. After it has completed, try launching any of the Adobe applications to verify that you once again have software access.

· Finally, you need to be a current degree / certificate seeking student, full-time / adjunct faculty member, or benefits eligible staff member to receive work-at-home Adobe Creative Cloud software access."
