With Field Day 2026 in the books, summer has officially begun! Wishing a fun and restful summer break to our LCS community!

Happy last day of school to Children’s House!

They celebrated with the annual Children’s House Fair (staffed by E2 students) and Kindergarten Fly-up Ceremony!

E1 Class Plays!

This May, Class C performed The Giving Tree and Class E presented The Odyssey, both complete with amazing music, costumes, and paper mache!

This week at the Land School: The sheep were sheared on Monday. Class F continued their annual tradition of planting the potatoes on Tuesday. Class D enjoyed their 3-day visit Wednesday-Friday with llama walking, chick visits, and pond and land exploration.

And amidst it all, the Cultivating Wonder construction continues!

Junior High MEST FEST!

The Junior High treated students and families to an array of engaging presentations related to Math, Engineering, Science, and Technology… or MEST!

Spring visits for Elementary classes have begun!

On Tuesday, Class H planted the onions and shallots— the first big planting of the season. Wednesday-Friday, we welcomed Class C for their overnight trip, full of exploration, stewardship, and fun. We walked the llamas, visited the new chicks, foraged for edible plants, found millions of tadpoles in the pond (really!), got out to explore the land, and peaked at the Cultivating Wonder construction!

Twice Upon a Time | E2 Play 2026

This year, the E2 put on a spectacular performance of mixed up fairytales with each student participating in acting, music, tech, and costumes and props!

With another successful Plant Sale in the books, here’s a peak at just some of the work that makes it all happen…

The whole Junior High came out to the Land School last Monday to finish preparing all of the plants and loaded them onto the truck to head to the Urban Campus!
