International students recently experienced a classic summer tradition at Camp Fire Minnesota during Global Minnesota’s third annual Day Camp & Nature Outing. Students representing 10 countries bonded over campfires, s’mores, hiking, and games while sharing stories about outdoor traditions from their own cultures.

"As someone living in a new country without knowing many people, these kinds of experiences truly make a difference." --International Student

From learning Minnesota folklore to experiencing American camping customs for the first time, the outing created lasting friendships and memorable cultural exchange in the outdoors.

Thank you Global Minnesota members for making these programs possible.
