It is with a sad heart that I have to announce that on January 11, 2025, my dad, Erik Dalton, died quickly from a heart attack while swimming drills in his pool on his 81st birthday in Costa Rica. I will miss him greatly, but I know he passed away in a place that he loved and made beautiful memories with my mom. Please share your memories of my dad as we celebrate his remarkable life.
As my dad intended, I am stepping into the leadership role at the Freedom from Pain Institute and Dalton Myoskeletal. The Dalton Myoskeletal team and Erik's MAT educators will continue to share Erik's work in the future. I know my dad has touched many of your lives with his work. Please share your memories and thoughts as we celebrate his remarkable life.

Truly, we live with mysteries too marvelous
to be understood.
How grass can be nourishing in the
mouths of the lambs.
How rivers and stones are forever
in allegiance with gravity
while we ourselves dream of rising.
How two hands touch and the bonds will
never be broken.
How people come, from delight or the
scars of damage,
to the comfort of a poem.
Let me keep my distance, always, from those
who think they have the answers.
Let me keep company always with those who say
“Look!” and laugh in astonishment,
and bow their heads.—Mary Oliver

Mark Crawford reached out to me and wants to share this with all alums and friends of MSMB:
First I'd like to thank everyone for the well wishes after my mom passed, it was a tough loss, she was a special person who meant a lot to many people and was a bright light in this world.
Secondly I'd like to thank the admin of this page for creating this space. Msmb was a wonderful part of my life.
Thirdly I say let's do a roll call of sorts, program, year graduated, and current status.
Maybe we can connect old classmates and friends, my mom would've loved that.
Thanks
Mark Crawford
