Bdote Learning Center is facing an uncertain future. We have until March 11 to appeal our nonrenewal from our authorizor. As one of the few immersion schools and the only elementary serving age in the Twin Cities, this would be a huge loss for our community. We will fight and find alternatives.
We are asking for assistance for legal service to fight this battle, testimonies from families and friends, letters of support, and monitary support to pay for legal as well the upcoming financial struggles due to policy change in compensatory funds.
Please call (612) 729-9266 if you want to provide support.

No school Friday, January 23rd.

Every other Friday we take time to celebrate being Native American, student growth, and being in community, but today we intentionally focused on love, joy and caring for each other. Everyday we teach Dakota and Ojibwe language and culture is an act of healing, resilience, and intrepidity. We do this for the next generation. π«Άπ½
