Anyone else in that weird end-of-the-year stretch where students are just DONE? 😅
I always found these last couple of weeks tricky. I wanted activities that felt fun and celebratory, but still had some purpose behind them.
I pulled together a list of some of my favorite end-of-the-year activities for high school like DIY party games, pop-up markets, trip-around-the-world planning, legacy letters, community action projects, reflection slideshows, and more.
They are reflective, hands-on, student-centered, and a lot more meaningful than just filling time until summer.

Hey there! Most of us want learning to feel more meaningful for students, but it’s not always clear what that actually looks like in practice.
This post breaks down what experiential projects really are and shares real examples you can use in a high school setting, from community-based projects to creative and skill-building experiences.
If you’ve been wanting to move away from worksheets and toward something more real, this blog post is a good place to start.

Hey all! I want to share something new with you!
Most students who have jobs in high school are learning a lot from the experience, but none of it is being captured or used intentionally.
My latest resource changes that.
It’s a simple, structured system students use alongside real jobs to track their work, reflect on real experiences, and build employability skills.
This isn’t about practicing job skills in the classroom. It’s about learning from actual work.
Students might be:
already working a part-time job
trying to get hired
or just starting to explore options
Wherever they are, this gives them a way to turn that experience into something meaningful, and something they can actually use moving forward.
Includes a student workbook, teacher guide, and an optional digital tracking spreadsheet.
Take a look and see if it’s something your students could use.
