At 2:00 AM, I woke up with a "what if" thought that wouldn't leave.
I prayed.
I asked God to renew my mind.
Then I pressed play on my *Calm Your Mind in 8 Minutes* guided prayer.
As I listened, I released the worry to Jesus.
Eight minutes later, I felt peace.
And I fell asleep.
*"Cast all your anxiety on Him because He cares for you."* — 1 Peter 5:7

For more than 70 years, Lee carried a belief that shaped her entire life:
"It's easier if I don't tell."
As a little girl, Lee experienced trauma that left her feeling unheard, unseen, and without a voice.
Although she had shared parts of her story over the years, the wound beneath it remained.
She learned to stay quiet, avoid conflict, and put everyone else's needs ahead of her own.
What she didn't realize was that a childhood wound had become a lifelong pattern.
During an Immanuel Prayer healing session through Spark Our Spirit Ministries, Lee invited Jesus into those painful memories.
Together, we uncovered the lie that had quietly influenced her life for decades and exchanged it for God's truth.
After more than 70 years, Lee experienced freedom.
She described feeling lighter, more at peace, and more connected to the voice God had given her.
Moments like this are why Spark Our Spirit Ministries exists.

Today we honor the brave men and women who laid down their lives so others could live in freedom. Their sacrifice reminds us that freedom always carries a cost. 🇺🇸
Because of their courage, we experience freedoms in the physical world that many never will.
And yet… there is another kind of freedom God longs to bring into our lives.
Sometimes our hearts carry stories marked by fear, shame, grief, rejection, or wounds that quietly keep us bound. But Jesus comes gently into those hidden places to redeem what was broken and restore what was lost.
As we remember those who fought for our outward freedom, may we also pause and thank God for the freedom He brings within the human heart — freedom to heal, freedom to hope again, and freedom to become who He created us to be.
“Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.” — John 15:13

What if the world changed… because one person chose kindness instead of bitterness?
We live in a culture quick to react, criticize, cancel, and divide.
But the heart of Christ calls us higher.
Sometimes healing begins with one softened response.
One forgiving word.
One moment of mercy when anger wants to take over.
Your kindness may be the very thing that reminds someone that goodness still exists in this world. 💜 Will you do your part?
“Stop being bitter and angry and mad at others… Instead, be kind and merciful, and forgive others, just as God forgave you because of Christ.”
— Ephesians 4:31–32

Are you surviving life instead of truly living it?
Some women have become so good at holding everything together that no one notices they’re quietly falling apart inside.
They keep showing up.
Keep performing.
Keep carrying the weight.
There comes a moment when your soul begins whispering, there has to be more than this.
More peace.
More connection.
More freedom.
God never asked you to numb your heart just to make it through another day. He invites you into healing, into honesty, and into the kind of wholeness that reaches deeper than appearances.
“So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.” — 2 Corinthians 4:18

Today on Mother’s Day, I honor my mother, Ethel. 💐
My mother has been gone for several years now, but the generational blessings she carried still live on through me.
She believed in God.
She believed things should be done with excellence.
She believed you worked hard, kept your word, helped others, and did not quit when life became difficult.
She carried that strong Norwegian perseverance.
Not loud.
Not showy.
Just steady faithfulness.
Growing up, I watched her push through hardship without giving up. I learned that women were not limited to one role in life. I learned that there was dignity in doing your best. I learned that priorities mattered. Work came before play… but when the work was done, there was room for laughter and family.
I watched her make time for church.
I watched her keep things neat and orderly.
And looking back now, I realize she was teaching me something deeper:
that Heaven has order…
and that what we build on earth matters too.
In a world that often celebrates rebellion and self-focus, I am grateful for the generational blessings that came through her bloodline:
perseverance,
moral conviction,
service,
faith,
strength,
and excellence.
In the work I do today through heart healing, I often speak about generational patterns. But today, I honor the generational blessings.
Some blessings are not loud.
Some are quietly woven into who we become.
And today…
I thank God for my mother, Ethel.
“The Lord is good, and His love endures forever; His faithfulness continues through all generations.”
— Psalm 100:5

Today on the National Day of Prayer, may we remember that prayer is not our last resort, it is our first connection to the heart of God.
In a world filled with noise, fear, and uncertainty, prayer brings peace, clarity, and hope. When we pause to pray, we invite Heaven into our homes, our families, our communities, and our nation.
Today, let’s speak life, blessing, and healing over those around us. One heartfelt prayer can spark hope in a weary heart.
“The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective.” — James 5:16
