Washburn Millerbots

Last night we came together to celebrate a great year for the Washburn Millerbots. At our end-of-year banquet we enjoyed a wonderful potluck dinner, handed out awards to each team member, celebrated academic successes, and recognized teammates who lettered in Robotics. We recognized the seniors’ contributions to the team and highlighted their next steps after graduation. We also said a big thank you to the team’s mentors. Tonight some of the Millerbot parents and mentors gathered together for food, conversation and fun at Tap Society. Planning for the spring, summer and beyond. Thanks to those who joined in and be sure to watch for more events. 🧡🤖💙

Day 3 of the North Star Regional. The Millerbots did incredibly well at this competition and had a lot of fun! They were the Alliance Captain for Alliance 6 in the playoffs and played in three semifinal matches before being eliminated. They should be very proud of their achievements and for ending their season on a strong note. Thank you mentors and parents for your support throughout the season. Stay tuned for more! 💙🧡🤖

Today was Day 2 at the North Star Regional: Qualifications. It was a FANTASTIC day for the Millerbots! Their ranking ranged between 5 and 10 throughout the day. At the end of the day, they are currently ranked 6th out of 47 teams. They won 6 of their 7 matches. Incredible!! Congrats to our favorite FRC team, the awesome Washburn Millerbots. We hope to see you tomorrow for the second day of qualifications (1/2 the day), alliance selections, playoffs and awards. Go, Millerbots! 🧡💙🤖
