We're officially requesting RSVPs! We're all set for September 30 at Elsie's. Cost will be $50 per person - this covers the space rental, food (more details on menu soon!), fabulous decorations, and other related expenses. There will be a cash bar, as well.

We are working on setting up electronic payments, as well, Venmo and PayPal - info on that will be posted when available. (note - the processing fees will be added to the $50 per person costs if paying electronically.)

Please pass this request on to others who may not be connected to this FB event or not on FB at all.
We are also collecting pictures for a slideshow - if you have any pictures you would like to share please email those, as well. We would love pictures from after school events, clubs, theatre activities, band, team practices, etc., but also from non-school events, parties, and pics from junior high and elementary school too!

SAVE THE DATE!! The Edison Class of 1983 is planning our 40th (how can that be? We're not that old!) reunion for this fall. We'll be celebrating at Elsie's on September 30 and we want ALL of our classmates to be there! We are currently gathering updated addresses and emails for our classmates, so are requesting help in spreading the word. Contact info can be emailed to: [email protected].
The celebration of life for Keith Brenny will be held Monday, October 24th at the Washburn-McReavy chapel, Hillside Cemetery at 2610 19th Ave NE, Minneapolis. The visitation is at 2:00, followed by the service at 3:00. A gathering will be held after the service in the community room of the cemetery.
We have learned that another classmate, Keith Brenny, has left us way too soon. We will post additional information and funeral arrangements when available.
Drink beer, raise money. Works for me. Indeed is the place to be on Wednesday, October 12th. 😁
Probably should have taken PTO for Monday too...

Congrats to Greg Robillard and Chris Gemlo! They recently finished the Missouri 340, the nations longest canoe race across the state of Missouri, paddling from Kansas City to St Charles, 340 miles in 59 hours and 29 minutes, finishing their 1st race in 16th place out of over 100 paddlers in the men's doubles division.

Very cool stuff going on at Edison these days! If you haven't been by recently, you really should check it out. The public art installations at the school, in the parking lot and in Jackson Square (including the softball field backstop) are really quite amazing.
