Twin Cities Chess Club is looking to fill openings for Chess Instructors.
Most classes start between 3:00 and 4:00 PM. We may also have summer camp opportunities during the summer months.
We provide all the chess equipment, curricular materials, as well as training. We are not necessarily looking for chess experts: your enthusiasm for chess is more important to us than your chess strength.
The students are mostly between the ages of 5 and 12 (grades K-6), and many of them are beginners. Experience in teaching children or working with groups of children would be a plus.
Every instructor will have to pass a criminal background check. Reliable transportation is required.
