Look, I hate politics, I know very little about politics, and I have zero desire to pick sides because all of this going on around MSP is asinine to me.

What I do know an obscene amount about though, are weapon systems; from small arms, explosives, even the heavy weights, it's my particular brand of the tism, as kids say. I also know, thanks to my first responder experience, an exceptional amount about of law enforcement standards of force. So combining that information, along with the knowledge that my mother, father, grand parents and basically every adult around me as a child imparted to me via a swift back of the hand was that you dont touch lit fireworks. Combine all of that and you learn a valuable, multi faceted lesson.

The M84, commonly called a "Flashbang" is a deterrent and disorientation device. It has roughly 4.5 grams of AN and Magnesium inside of it and produces about 100 times the amount of force of your average M80 produces. It is, basically, a very VERY large firework. If you are part of a crowd throwing s**t at the cops, and they tell you to stop throwing s**t at them and you don't, among the things they will throw back at you are those lovely little devices.

M80's, if left alone, make a loud bang and entice giggles from kids as they use them to blow up ant hills, but can take off digits if you're dumb enough to pick them up. M84's, if left alone, might ring your bell and remind you that you are still subject to the laws of physics if you or your friends refuse to stop throwing stuff.....or, as demonstrated below, take off 2 fingers and break every single bone in your hand if you rush forward and pick up what is effectively a giant lit firework.

Friends, by all means go protest if you feel the need to, make your voice heard, but if cops tell you to disperse because some riled up partizan hack is chucking crap at the police, understand that you should really reconsider your current location or, at a minimum, don't try to pick up the angry bang tubes, and for the love of Pete, don't put anything on top of them.
