The Bridging Coach

The Bridging Coach Helping families and individuals resolve conflicts peacefully through professional mediation and coaching.

We are located in Maple Grove and serve all of Minnesota. Divorce, custody and parenting time, co-parenting support, and family conflict resolution. Most of us know someone who is divorced, or went through a divorce yourself. Unfortunately divorce can be a costly and traumatic experience. It can affect us on an emotional, financial and spiritual level. As someone who went through divorce, with two

small children, I know divorce is an overwhelming process and hard on the whole family. Even if you initiate the paperwork, you can feel like a failure. As a CDC Divorce Transition and Recovery Coach® I do not advocate for divorce, but the reality is divorce happens. My desire is to reduce the negative effects on the individuals and families going through the divorce process. My role as a Certified Divorce Coach® is to help inform clients on the best options for their individual needs, refer professionals for the team, assist to organize and prepare, offer support, motivate to achieve goals, and caution to avoid the pitfalls of the divorce process. Even in the best scenario, divorce can trigger emotions and derail the process. Having an unbiased guide will help you stay on track and keep you moving forward, reducing your overall cost and conflict. Ideally a Certified Divorce Coach® is contacted at the beginning of the process to give an overview of what is to come. However, I work with people who are contemplating divorce, in the midst of a divorce or having difficulty transitioning after divorce. I meet people where they are at in the process and help bridge the past to the future. Qualifications:

Co-parenting during the holidays can feel overwhelming, especially when routines shift and expectations run high. The most helpful thing you can do is plan ahead, communicate early, and stay focused on what supports your children. Simple agreements, flexible thinking, and a shared commitment to creating calm can make this season feel more manageable for everyone. You deserve a holiday that brings peace rather than pressure, and your kids deserve to feel grounded and cared for in both homes.

The holidays can bring a mix of emotions during divorce or major life transitions. Give yourself room to slow down, reflect, and choose what truly supports your well being. Your next chapter does not need to be rushed. It can be something you create with intention and care, one small step at a time.

The holidays can feel different after divorce. If this season brings mixed emotions, you are not alone. Give yourself permission to honor what is heavy while still noticing what is steady. Gratitude does not have to mean pretending everything is perfect. It can simply be acknowledging the moments of peace, support, and clarity that help you keep moving. This year, may you find small things worth holding close and the strength to release what no longer serves you.

The holiday season can bring added pressure when you are moving through divorce. Remember that you are allowed to set boundaries, change traditions, and make choices that support your peace. Small adjustments can make this season feel far more manageable and meaningful.

One of the greatest gifts you can give your children during divorce is a co parenting plan designed with their wellbeing at the center.

Kids do not need perfect parents.
They need parents who are willing to show up, communicate, and work together even while building separate homes. ❤️

If you are ready to create a healthier co parenting foundation that supports everyone involved, I am here to help.

Hearing “I want a divorce” from your partner can feel like the ground just dropped beneath you.

While you can’t control the decision, you can control how you move forward.

Here’s how to support yourself in this moment:

1. Pause & breathe — Give yourself space before reacting.

2. Acknowledge the shock — It’s normal to feel hurt, confused, or blindsided.

3. Avoid big decisions — Don’t rush into agreements or reactions.

4. Get support — A divorce coach that can help you process and plan.

5. Focus on your next step — Clarity comes from action, not panic.

DM me if you need guidance on what to do next. 🤍
