The YWR lab would like to congratulate Joe on accepting an EdS internship position this fall!
Joe will be moving back to Portland, Oregon, to complete his EdS internship at the Multnomah Educational Service District in the Portland, Oregon area. He will likely be splitting time between a small school district in the Columbia Gorge outside of Portland and Multnomah ESD's schools for students who have had persistent behavior challenges in school. We are so excited for him!
We would like to also congratulate all of the EdS students of the UNL school psychology program on their internship acceptances. We can’t wait to hear about your wonderful experiences! Best of luck, interns!

Several YWR lab members have been up to exciting things lately!
Fabi, a third year doctoral student in the lab, presented on a project titled “An Instrument for an Assets-Based Approach to STEM Intervention Impact Research” at the 2022 Council for the Study of Community Colleges Conference in Tempe, Arizona.
Abril, also a third year doctoral student in the lab, presented her research poster titled “MTSS in Secondary Schools: Examining how PBIS Experience Impacts Broader MTSS Implementation” at the 2022 Association for Positive Behavioral Supports Conference in San Diego, California.
Lastly, our faculty advisor, Dr. Beth Doll, was featured in a UNL press release regarding the excellent training the UNL School Psychology program provides. The press release also highlighted a recent grant developed with program faculty member, Dr. Gormley, to secure funding for a new project that would help train school psychologists in rural Nebraska.
