Our preschool children are fed 100% wholesome and healthy organic snacks each day. Only natural toys and materials are in our classrooms - and we are completely free of chemicals and plastics. At Green Earth, children safely explore the wonders of nature and get lots of exercise playing together outdoors in all seasons. Through daily preschool curriculum we instill habits needed for a healthy life

style for your child, polite manners, and the knowledge to contribute to a sustainable environment. Children must be taught to enjoy caring for their own health and the health of our planet. Building upon a legendary reputation among parents and young children who adore her for her nearly twenty years of excellent service as an early childhood education teacher in the Twin Cities; Ms. Renee Perrone founded Green Earth Children's Academy. At Green Earth children and their parents receive the best of everything. Green Earth is a progressive school for young children whose families care deeply about their young child's passion for education, health, overall happiness, community building, social confidence, demeanor, environmental sustainability, alternative energy, love for spending time outdoors playing in nature, and eating a healthy organic diet. Renee is an experienced expert in all established early childhood education philosophies and methods including but by no means limited to Waldorf education, Montessori education, and Reggio Emilia.

Part Time or Full Time Assistant Teacher/Caregiver and Lead Aftercare Teacher/Caregiver Position available.�
A Waldorf and Reggio Emilia-inspired, nature-based preschool (established in 2009) in a South Minneapolis neighborhood house (dedicated as a preschool), is looking for either part-time or full-time assistant caregivers/teachers to work with the lead teacher starting June 22nd 2026.

Teacher/Caregiver positions available include different possibilities:

Assistant teacher/caregiver: 3-5 mornings from 8:15-1:15

Lead Aftercare teacher/caregiver: 5 afternoons from 1-4:30.

Near full or full-time Assistant and Aftercare teacher/caregiver: full-time position working 3-5 mornings and 5 afternoons. 8:15-4:30 with an hour break.

Competitive pay and scheduled days off. We offer 3 paid requested days off each school year for sick/personal reasons.

Experience with children and love for children required.

Work in a friendly environment while enriching the lives of preschool children daily! Though the position is for assistant teacher/caregiver, the atmosphere allows for creative expression and a feeling of equality among all teachers/caregivers. Employees will be trained in to learn the curriculum and approach.

Come and work at Green Earth Preschool! Where imaginative play, a magical atmosphere, positive learning experiences, and a fantastic community awaits a teacher/caregiver who loves children and being in an environment where children are seen, loved, and given opportunities to play and learn real skills: cooking, art, gardening, STEM activities, festivals, puppetry, woodworking, outdoor and indoor play. In the winters, we spend part of the morning inside and we have an outdoor classroom with heaters so the children also play and eat lunch outside nearly every day! In the warmer months, we spend most of our time outside.

All employees must complete background checks and complete yearly training (paid for by Green Earth).

Employees are allowed to bring one of their preschool-aged children with them and we will negotiate pay around a child coming along-(not charging full tuition).
