If you have a busy mind while meditating, you're not alone.
What I found from a consistent meditation practice is that it's not about an ideal of complete stillness, and especially not from the start.
It's a daily practice, and it's about giving yourself an opportunity to let go of the backlog of thoughts, stimulus and energy that's built up.
If you haven't done it for a while, you may feel bombarded by it. It may be uncomfortable. Some days are harder than others.
It's like taking out the garbage, when you do it consistently, it gets easier.
Meditation is such a helpful tool, and it's one of the areas I see people struggle with the most to build a consistent practice.
It doesn't have to be long, but consistently sitting down to meditate will bring results.
Want to get started? At we have a weekly, in-person MAX Meditation System class every Thursday.
I lead an online option monthly.
Both are beginner friendly and designed to help you build the practice โ not just learn about it.
Because knowing about meditation and actually meditating are two very different things. The best way to build the habit is to have a time, a place, and people to show up with.
Come try it. Link in bio for details.
Do you have a consistent meditation practice? Tell me in the comments โ I'm curious what's helped you stick with it, or what's gotten in the way.
