We moved-which means I am going to try and get my Christmas cards out early to get ahead of the game! Which app or website do you use for your Christmas/New Years cards?

Hey friends! As some of you know, I started my coaching business about 1 year ago. My focus is typically first responders and their families and lets get real, to be honest, not many first responders like to reach out for help if they need it. WE HAVE TO CHANGE THAT! IT IS OK TO NOT BE OK AND OK TO NEED SOME HELP.

So I have a couple requests for you.

1. If you know any first responder/frontline workers (Police, EMT, Dispatcher, Doctor, Fire Fighter etc) and you think they are in need of someone to just talk to, or get advice- please send them my way. Please also refer them to our podcast, The Kingdom Killers. I have a new episode dropping today!

2. I also offer coaching to anyone going through transitions in life: marriage, divorce, kids, death, job loss etc.

3. Coaching Vs. Therapy:
Coaching-->Understanding on what happened to you affects your now and how to move forward.
Therapy--> Understanding what happened and trying to help your brain through it. Basically dealing with the past and trying to help heal.

4. Privacy- I keep it private just like therapist unless you are ok with me sharing parts of your story.

I 10000% believe therapy/counseling is needed! I've used it, and I still use it! It has helped my healing journey tremendously! I've also been involved in coaching, which has changed the trajectory of my life. It has given me confidence, opened my eyes to areas I was unable to see myself, and it has changed the trajectory of my life! So much that now it's my JOB!

I used to think that being involved in counseling or coaching meant something was wrong with me or that I was less than. Plus, it took up time from being with my family. But I realized that God wants me to love myself as my neighbor, which means to me that taking time for myself is ok-actually- God wants us to. It's hard to take care of others when we are not taking care of ourselves.

🌿 Understanding PTSD: Shedding Light and Finding Healing 🌼

June is PTSD Awareness Month, a time to focus on Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and its impact on countless lives, including my own. Let's delve into what PTSD is, why raising awareness is crucial, and the importance of seeking help.

🔍 Understanding PTSD:
PTSD is a mental health condition that may develop after a person experiences or witnesses a traumatic event. It can affect anyone, from first responders to survivors of trauma. Symptoms may include flashbacks, nightmares, anxiety, and avoidance of reminders.

🔢 Statistics That Demand Our Attention:

Over 3 million people are diagnosed with PTSD each year in the US.
Many more suffer in silence, as they might not recognize their symptoms or fear the stigma.
Raising awareness about PTSD is vital. It helps reduce the stigma and encourages understanding and support for those affected. Seeking help is a courageous step toward healing. It's not a sign of weakness, but an act of strength and self-care. 🌈💪

Faith can also play a significant role in the healing process. By reaching out, we find solace in human connection and the divine presence, helping us move towards recovery and resilience. 🙏💖 🌟🤗

I am now taking on clients! I am extra excited about this new role as a Certified Christian Professional Transitions Life Coach.

#1 Question: What does that mean? I work with people who need to rebuild a particular part of their journey while either in transition or after. We focus on looking forward, and I walk alongside you to help you with the changes you need to move forward.

#2 Question: Counseling vs. Coaching? Counseling focuses on what has happened in the past and how to fix that, and coaching focuses on the future and how life can be different with a little extra tools to implement.

#3 Question: Do I have to be a Christian to work with you? No, you do not. I am a Christian and believe in Jesus Christ. I implement Biblical views within my coaching, but you do not have to have a current relationship with Jesus Christ to be a client
