2nd Grade traveled all around the Village of Minier for our field trip today. We visited the Village Hall, Water Facility, Minier Police Department, Bank of Pontiac, Fire Station, and Minier Lanes. Community helpers from each location taught us valuable information about their jobs. We are grateful to be apart of such an incredible community!

While the world sees bandages and ice packs, we see the countless hours you spend advocating for our families and ensuring every student feels safe and well enough to learn. From soothing scraped knees to navigating complex health needs for our families, Mrs. Lindsey goes above and beyond every single day. Mrs. Lindsey's dedication ensures our students aren't just healthy, but felt seen and supported so they can do their best in the classroom.

This event is a wonderful opportunity for students and families to meet the OMS staff and learn important information regarding the transition to middle school. We encourage everyone to attend!

Today KS celebrated their student teacher's last day of school before graduating from ISU tomorrow. KS is so thankful to have spent the majority of the semester with their incredible student teacher, Miss Tharp. We will miss having her at Oly West, but we know she is off to do great things in her own classroom!
