At Hills Elementary, we’re kicking off the 2026–2027 school year with a strong commitment to attendance, learning, and student success!

Every school day matters, and we’re proud of our students and families for making attendance a priority as we begin another exciting year of learning and growing together!

Being present means more than just being in a classroom. It means building friendships, developing confidence, discovering new opportunities, and creating a foundation for future success.

Let’s keep the momentum going, Hills! Every day counts, every student matters, and every opportunity to learn makes a difference!

🧩FUN FRIDAY: RIDDLE ME THIS! 🧩

A little mystery, a little friendly competition, and a whole lot of fun to kick off Friday!

We’re bringing some extra excitement to our Fridays with “Riddle Me This!” A weekly opportunity to celebrate our incredible teachers and staff while sharing a few laughs along the way!

This morning, the challenge was on! Staff members put their thinking caps on, solved the morning riddle, and raced to be caller #5 with the correct answer! 📞

Congratulations to our very first winner, Mrs. Kleineke, preschool teacher! She cracked the code and took home a brand-new tote bag! The best part? This is just the beginning! Every Friday will bring a new opportunity, a different prize, and another reason to smile! A little fun goes a long way!

Preschool is learning all about their five senses this week. On Monday, Ms. Lash’s class taste tested apples and voted for their favorite. 🍎 Today they explored more and got to use our schools popcorn machine and discover all 5 senses at one time! 🍿
