Big Beans camp: Little Hands, Big 🩵's:
Love, kindness, service, community.
Pictures of their final sun painting with their affirmations but they are going to remind themselves before school every day.

Wrapped up our cards that will be going to the nursing home to bring cheer to the residents!💝
We decorated some garden sticks for the kids to put out in public to give cheer to others.
And we did a gratitude paper after reading Maddi’s Fridge by Lois Brandt. We talked about how everyone's different and everybody has a different amount of things and how there are a lot of kids that don't have enough food at home. We discussed just being kind & a good person in general. And how some things are important to tell others that things like that aren't tattling.
We did some dancing, they sang some songs and had a lot of fun today since it was the last summer class.

Today we worked on our affirmations for our sun ☀️painting.
We painted rocks to cheer up the community!
We ended doing a fun brain break.

➡️TOMORROW:
Some want to paint more rocks I told them I will keep paint there so dress accordingly💚

Today we did the first stage of our sun ☀️painting.
 we talked about her named a bunch of affirmations.
That will be going to the nursing home to bring cheer to the residents!💝
We ended up doing two fun brain breaks! One of them was a Toy Story that says, "Andy's coming" that's why they're on the ground😂

➡️TOMORROW:
We will be painting rocks, so I will be using acrylic paint. Make sure they wear something that they won't ruin or have them bring a big T-shirt to put on top.
I did tell them they could bring a couple of their own rocks🪨💚

Animal Superpowers day 2!

Today we learned all about the mantis shrimp. It has a punch so fast that human eye doesn't even see it's arm move. And it has such amazing eyes that it sees colors that we can't.

We made a process art ocean using white crayons, watercolors, and salt. We then added a mantis shrimp that we colored in rainbow colors- just like the mantis shrimp!

Animal Superpowers day 1!

This is our fullest class & my favorite class. ❤️ And these kids were amazing today!

We learned all about the master of disguise, the octopus. They can disappear with their amazing camouflage and can even change their texture. They have no bones, so they squeeze into small holes easily. And they sq**rt out ink to hide from predators!

We earned our badge & made our own octopus to take home.
