Today is an author/illustrator day for our Adventurers as we read Little Owl's Night by Divya Srinivasan. We talked about all the nocturnal animals Little Owl saw. Then we recreated the front cover of the book. These will be featured in our spring art show.

Owl pellets!

This week, we're learning about nocturnal animals & each class took apart an owl pellet.

Owls swallow their food whole & that doesn't make their bellies feel well. They'll throw up owl pellets, which us everything they can't digest. We took apart the owl pellets to see what the owl ate. We examined the bones to see which animal we thought they belonged to & counted the skulls to see how mamy animals were in each pellet.

HEY, 2027-2028 DAY CLASS PARENTS!

Did the 2026-2027 year just start? Yes! But are we also looking at next year's list? Also yes!

If your child will be ready to start next fall, comment below with their name & class preference (AM or PM)! I have my waiting lists, but I don't necessarily have when everyone wants to start.

This doesn't include current students. Your child definitely already have a spot if returning.
