The West Virginia Laborers Training Center is currently accepting resumes for multiple Instructor positions. If you are a current LIUNA member with at least 5 years of experience as a Construction Craft Laborer and a strong desire to join a growing team while helping to shape the future of the trade, we encourage you to reach out. It was a great honor to host LiUNA General President Brent Booker, LiUNA VP & Mid-Atlantic Regional Manager Phil Ameris, and LiUNA Construction Department Director & Assistant Regional Manager Brendan O’Sullivan for a site tour and discussions on how training is being used to create opportunities for the membership through pro-active partnerships and forward thinking initiatives.
Also during this visit our leadership was eager to engage with the 14 new apprentices on site and took the opportunity to eat lunch with these new members. It gave us great pride to watch our leadership interact with LiUNA’s newest members as these individuals take their first steps into careers within LiUNA.

Yesterday, WVALDC Organizer Shane Dillon and West Virginia Construction Craft Laborers Apprenticeship Coordinator Eric King paid a visit to Coalfield Development Corporation in Logan, WV, to speak with one of their adult education groups.

​Shane and Eric shared the incredible career opportunities available through LiUNA and our apprenticeship program. They highlighted the massive variety of construction sectors our members work in every day.

​Our program doesn't just offer a job, it sets you up for a lifelong career through top-tier training and the invaluable experience of working alongside skilled journeymen and journeywomen.
