**POTTERY PARTY** alert: For the past several weeks, ceramics artist Emiko Naito has led a pottery workshop which will end with a free public talk about working in ceramics featuring Tacoma's Rick Mahaffey and Ashford's Jana Gardner. The talks will coincide with "pick-up" day for workshop participants, where they come to fetch work they created after Emiko took it offsite for glazing and kiln-firing. All are welcome to pop in, SEE WHAT YOUR NEIGHBORS MADE, and hear from regional clay bosses!

THIS WEEKEND! This weekend is the COACHELLA OF EAST LEWIS COUNTY -- when the Mineral Lake Lions Club kicks off the 2026 fishing season on Mineral Lake. To keep the fishing A-listers happy, we're also holding a craft fair in the church building (116 Lincoln Ave) on Friday and Saturday.
