We’re concluding our Meet the PTA Board series with our VP of Membership, Karen Eck! 💛💙

Karen is the person helping us grow our PTA family and making sure more of our Jouett community has the opportunity to be part of all the good things happening at school! As VP of Membership, she’s excited to welcome new members, strengthen our PTA community, and help make this a year filled with connection and involvement. 🙌

Karen is a proud mom of three, with two children currently attending Jouett, and she joined the PTA because she wanted to enhance her own children’s elementary school experience while getting more involved in the fun along the way.

We’re so excited to have Karen helping grow our PTA family this year! Whether you’re a longtime PTA member or you’re thinking about joining for the first time, Karen would love to have you be part of our Legendary Trailblazer community!

The day we’ve been waiting for is finally here! ✏️📚✨

From the very first bell to the last dismissal, we hope our JES Trailblazers have an AMAZING first day back! Whether you’re walking through the doors for the very first time or returning to familiar hallways, today is the beginning of a brand-new adventure.

🌟 Meet the PTA Board!🌟

We’re continuing our Meet the PTA series with our PTA Secretary, Jamie Sichi! 💙💛

Jamie is all about keeping our PTA organized, informed, and working together! As Secretary, she’ll be supporting our board, keeping everyone on the same page, and helping make sure the behind-the-scenes details don’t get overlooked.

A proud Jouett mom of two, Jamie joined the PTA because she believes in the power of communication, collaboration, and community. She’s passionate about supporting our students, staff, and families and helping make this a fantastic school year for everyone.

When she’s not busy with PTA life, Jamie enjoys spending time with her family, camping, beach trips, and hunting for hidden treasures at local thrift shops. And at home, she has a Great Dane and a cat who may be complete opposites—but somehow are the best of friends! 🐾

We’re so excited to have Jamie bringing her organization, heart, and teamwork to the 2026–2027 Jouett PTA!

WOW, Trailblazers… 101 NEW MEMBERS joined the Jouett PTA at Open House yesterday! 🤯

ONE. HUNDRED. ONE. 💙💛

We are absolutely blown away by the support! Every single membership means more opportunities to support our students, teachers, classrooms, and our Jouett community.

And guess what? WE’RE NOT DONE YET! 👀

Our Membership Drive is still going strong, which means there’s still time to JOIN + GET IN ON OUR RAFFLE!

🌟 Meet the PTA Board!🌟

Next up in our Meet the PTA Board series is our VP of Fundraising, Rachel Simmons! 💙💛

Rachel is passionate about creating fun, meaningful experiences for our students while helping support everything that makes Jouett such a special place. As this year’s VP of Fundraising, she’s excited to work alongside our amazing families, staff, and community partners to bring new ideas, exciting events, and successful fundraisers to life.

A proud mom of two, including a Jouett fourth grader, Rachel loves being involved in her children’s school and believes some of the best memories are made through school events. Whether she’s organizing a fundraiser, volunteering, or helping behind the scenes, she’s always looking for ways to make a positive impact.

When she’s not busy with PTA or chasing after her little ones, you’ll likely find her with a good book in one hand and a cup of coffee in the other. 📚☕️

🌟 Meet the PTA Board! 🌟

Next up in our Meet the PTA series is our VP of Volunteers, Jimmy Wade!

If there’s a game happening around town, there’s a good chance you’ll find Jimmy on the sidelines cheering someone on! As a proud dad of three boys — including one Legendary Trailblazer at Jouett — Jimmy knows just how important it is to have families, staff, and our community come together to support our kids.

As VP of Volunteers, Jimmy is looking forward to connecting families with opportunities to get involved, supporting our incredible teachers and staff, and helping create memorable experiences for our students. His goal is to make it easy for more families to find a way to be part of the Jouett community — because every helping hand makes a difference! 🙌

Whether it’s football, baseball, basketball, soccer, wrestling, or cheer, Jimmy is already a familiar face on the sidelines. Now he’s bringing that same energy and community spirit to the PTA!
