It is with great sadness that we share the passing of Mr. Robert Adair.
Mr. Adair was a familiar and beloved presence in our district for many years. He served in both of our buildings and was a positive role model to students and staff. Most of his time was spent at Seaborn Elementary, where he could be found as a substitute teacher, offering a warm smile in the car rider drop-off line, and sharing laughs and conversations with students during lunch. He was in the building nearly every day and was truly adored by our school community.
Mr. Adair’s family, who are also deeply rooted in our district, shared that he absolutely “loved every minute” of his time with our students and staff.
Additional counselors will be available at school this week for any student who may need extra support.
Services for Mr. Adair will be held Thursday at Old North Church in Canfield. Calling hours will be from 11:00 a.m. to noon, with the funeral immediately following.
Our thoughts and prayers are with the Adair family during this difficult time.
You will be deeply missed, Mr. Adair. 🧡🖤
