In case you aren't paying attention, there is a surging covid variant and a vaccine for it.
But dickwad RFKjr has made it so only old people and sick people can get it. And you can't just walk in, you need a prescription from your doctor.
If you are going to be open for FALL ART TOUR, shopping at Fall Art Tour, participating in or shopping at an art or craft show or opening, holiday gathering, holiday shopping, going to kids school things, doing more indoor things come fall, you should get one any way you can.
If you are old, that's enough.
Otherwise, try dredging up any medical condition you can think up. Did you used to have asthma, nasal allergies, an irregular heartbeat? Anything under control that you can claim could flare up dangerously?
Get that prescription called in and go do it.
It's a lot harder than it used to be to get vaccinated for Covid.

CLASS SUBSTITUTION OPTIONS
If you are the only student, you may, by prior arrangement, substitute any other offered class, or you may choose to learn to make a wet felted vase, needle felt tiny picture pins, learn very basic bookbinding for journals, nature printing, make a wire birdnest, or learn more advanced silversmithing techniques.
You can lock in your topic by paying for two student slots in advance, or you can find me 2 to 6 students who want the same special class.

BEADED EARRIINGS CLASS
B1 Friday 9-11am
B2 Friday 5-7pm
B3 Saturday 9-11am
Beaded Earring classes, B1, B2, and B3, cover earring design, tool use, bead wiring, connecting bead components, and making and adding French earwires.
You can shop from my beads or bring your own.
Silver wire is available but more pricey than brass and copper which we will typically use. Specify when signing up please.
Earring making studio is available during gallery hours by appointment once you have taken a class.

LINOLEUM BLOCK PRINT CLASSES
On Linoleum Block Print weekends:
L1, the Friday morning class, will teach you how to turn your photo or idea into artwork suitable for linoleum block carving.
L2, the Friday afternoon class, will use your pre-prepared artwork for carving a linoleum block for printing.
L3, the Saturday class, will cover printing from a pre-carved block.
These classes can be taken all in one weekend or can be taken spread across the season.
If your artwork is not ready, I can provide a design for you to carve. If your block is not carved, I can loan you a block to use to learn printing.
Woodblock carving is not covered but can be arranged.
Studio time for any step is available during open hours by appointment.

FELTING CLASSES
On Felting Weekends:
F1, the Friday morning class, will be wet felting in the hand. Flower rounds, petals, leaves, stems, vines can be made and assembled into pins or hair clips or garlands.
F2, the Friday afternoon class, will be wet felting a mat in a 4" x 4" tray, as the background for a small felt painting.
F3, the Saturday morning class, will offer needle felting on your 4"x 4" felted mat to build up a felt painting.
These classes can be taken the same weekend or spread throughout the season.
If you want to skip wet felting the mat, I can provide a generic blank felt mat for you to learn needle felting on.
More advanced classes to make larger paintings can be arranged.
Felting studio time is available during open hours.

SILVER JEWELRY CLASSES
On Silver Jewelry weekends:
S1, the Friday morning class, will be Silver Leaf Earrings. We will cut out leaf shapes, stamp on veins, dome a bit, punch earwire holes, polish, and add French wire earwires.
S2, the Friday afternoon class, will offer shape options such as disks, rectangles, squares, shields, hearts, or other simple shapes. Stamping can include building designs with lines and dots or by using a wide selection of more complex metal stamps such as spirals, leaves, hearts, and more. We will finish your shapes into earrings as above.
S3, the Saturday morning class, will make a larger pendant similar to the previous classes, and affix it to a cord.
There will be no sawing or soldering in these basic classes, but advanced classes can be arranged on request.
