Congratulations!!!

🌽 Alumni Alert! Kudos to Mineral Point FFA Chapter's Ella James, Ellie Robinson, Luke Schubert, Annie Robinson, and Payton Heins for earning the National FFA Organization American Degree!

As the highest degree achievable in the National FFA Organization, the American FFA Degree shows an FFA member’s dedication to his or her chapter and state FFA association. It demonstrates the effort FFA members apply toward their Supervised Agricultural Experience and the outstanding leadership abilities and community involvement they exhibited through their FFA career. American FFA Degree recipients show promise for the future and have gone above and beyond to achieve excellence. Less than 1% of FFA members achieve the American Degree.

Final Reminder county fair entries are due August 1st, registration can be found on the Iowa County Fair website. YQCA certification has to be complete before doing animal entries.

Reminder: FFA members we need your help setting up tables and chairs for the Iowa County Cattlemans Steak Dinner. We will be setting up at 6pm on WednesdayJuly 15th at 1692 Cty Rd W, Mineral Point. Please let Mr. Robinson or an FFA officer know if you are able to help. Anyone can come help, the more help the faster setup will go.

Mineral Point FFA had three FFA members receive their State FFA Degree at the Wednesday afternoon session of the State FFA Convention. The State FFA Degree is the highest degree an FFA member can receive at the state level.

Also representing Mineral Point as our official state delegates at the State FFA Convention were Emily Heisner and Aiden Patterson. They voted on important issues that affect the state FFA association.

🇺🇸 And they're off! Mineral Point FFA Chapter members Lily Heisner and Harper Heins are headed to the Washington Leadership Conference this week. Enjoy, girls!

WLC inspires FFA members to become changemakers in their communities. Each day of the conference focuses on a different principle taught through the context of our nation’s capital. These principles include exploration, encouragement, advocacy, and service. At the end of the week, members leave with a Living to Serve Plan they can implement in their communities.

Mineral Point FFA State Champions

Mineral Point FFA had a great start to the State FFA convention on Tuesday June 16th at the Alliant energy center in Madison. Bringing home three state champion titles in proficiency areas, as well as a state runner up and a third place finish.

Annie Robinson in Goat Production Entrepreneurship was a state champion and will move onto national competition.

Henry Chapman in Fruit and Nut Production Placement was a state champion and will move onto national competition.

Johnny Robinson in Diversified Livestock Production placement was a state champion and will move onto national competition.

Ellie Robinson was state runner up in Forage Production placement.

Annie Robinson in Agricultural Sales placed 3rd in the state

The Mineral Point FFA livestock judging team was recognized on stage for their state title from earlier this spring. They will be moving onto national competition in the fall at the national FFA convention in Indianapolis. Members of the team are Faye Schuette, Johnny Robinson, Aiden Patterson and Riley Sennhenn.
