We are on the home stretch! Yay!
May 21st - ALL Senior's are invited to participate in the Baccalaureate service at 6pm at the First Baptist Church of Mineola sponsored by the Mineola Ministerial Alliance
May 22nd - Senior Trip, They will leave that morning and be home that night. They are going to Six Flags (meal provided), Studio Movie and Grill (meal provided) and to the mall (They will be given $5 for a meal). No parent chaperones were needed.
May 24th - Senior Clap Out (where the Senior's wear their caps and gowns and walk the halls and the kids come out and line the hallways) will be at 8:15am. Parents are welcome to attend. The Senior's will be meeting in the lobby then walking over to the Elementary, followed by the Middle and Primary schools.
May 24th - Senior Dinner at the Nature Preserve at 6pm. Each Senior can bring 2 guests. A meal is provided. Cowburners BBQ is cooking the brisket. We will also have beans, potato salad, chips, and dessert. Drinks will be provided also.
May 24th - AFTER the dinner, the Senior's will paint the hill. (about 8pm) PARENT CHAPERONES ARE NEEDED. Please bring a lawn chair and come out if you can help supervise.
June 2nd - Graduation at 7pm. Doors open at 6pm.
PARENT PLEASE TAKE NOTE that Senior's usually have a poster in the gym lobby before graduation. This is not required, but most kids have one hanging. You can put whatever you want on there such as baby pics/senior pics/quotes or whatever. It can be a posterboard or a printed poster. They hang in the lobby before and after graduation for all to look at.
