We had a rescuer over this last week! This Bard owl was tangled good in home made fishing line above the creek in freezing temps. While usually not so bad for these birds hanging out exposed to the cold temps like this with potential injury isn’t good for any animal!

After several hours of attempting to free this poor thing, we finally got her down! After looking her over we did not note any injuries, and after eating successfully on night one, she was released!

We will be posting the release video soon! So glad as most times these situations leave a bird crippled for life, or worse. Thank you all for stopping by!
