Rooted in our beautiful Carson Valley, the Douglas Carson Farm Bureau is dedicated to supporting and growing agricultural education in our community. We believe it’s important for our youth to understand where their food comes from and to appreciate the hard work, dedication, and innovation that go into producing it.

Through our annual Ag Day program, we bring agriculture to local elementary schools across Douglas County and Carson City. Students get hands-on experiences with local farmers, ranchers, and ag professionals—learning about crops, livestock, conservation, and the many ways agriculture touches our everyday lives.

We’re also proud to invest in the future of agriculture by offering scholarships to graduating high school seniors who have been involved in ag programs and plan to pursue a career in the agricultural field.

At the Douglas Carson Farm Bureau, we love our beautiful valley and are committed to keeping our agricultural roots strong. By educating, inspiring, and supporting the next generation, we’re helping ensure that agriculture continues to thrive here for years to come. 🌾🐄💚
