Hello, my name is Dana Richardson. Department of Labor. ABCs & 123s!

I am the owner and primary caregiver at Frogs Kind of Place Childcare. I have been caring for children for over eleven years. I have completed the Child Care Development Specialists apprenticeship program from the U.S. I am CPR certified and also Shallow Water Life Guard Certified. I have a blended family of seven with my youngest being 13. I opened Frogs Kind of Place Childcare, because I love ch

ildren. I promise to nurture your child as if he or she was my own. My Philosophy:
I believe that all children deserve love, attention, and nurturing. I believe that a safe environment allows children to explore and grow. At Frogs Kind of Place Childcare, I allow children to have hands-on learning experiences. This fosters age appropriate development. I read to the children everyday. I believe that positive reinforcement is important for children to develop self-esteem. Children need an environment that supports free expression and stimulates learning. Most importantly, however, I believe that children need to have fun! At Frogs Kind of Place Childcare, I often have homemade playdough day, trip to the park days, baking dayand exploring day. We also play lots of exciting games. Children learn best from experiencing the world around them. Frogs Kind of Place Childcare provides a safe, loving environment for children. I accept children from two years to six years of age. I play developmentally appropriate games, teach ABCs and 123s. I am open from 7:00am to 5:30pm and offer drop-in care when space permits. Each child receives loving care and attention at Frogs Kind of Place Childcare. Your child will love my large collection of toys, games, dramatic play and art & crafts. I have a large outdoor area with sandbox, playhouse and scooters. Mommies and Daddies will feel secure leaving their children at Frogs Kind of Place Childcare. Nurturing & Stimulating Environment!
