We celebrated the first day of Fall on Tuesday with a little Pumpkin Patch surprise for our staff! Each staff member got to choose a one-of-a-kind, handcrafted pumpkin and enjoy homemade pumpkin bread for a sweet fall treat.

Thank you to Lynette Macolly! She puts so much time and love into making this special for our J.A. Phillips staff every year!

In CKLA, our kindergarteners began learning about the five senses and how they work with our bodies! They tasted different foods, smelled different scents, explored textures, listened with whisper phones, and looked through magnifying glasses.

We were seeing DOTS everywhere today!

Our students and staff celebrated International Dot Day! Students are reading The Dot by Peter H. Reynolds in Library this week and using their creativity to make their own mark in Art!

Today, they joined in the fun by dressing in DOTS, DOTS, and MORE DOTS!

At J.A. Phillips, even the smallest dot can be the start of something BIG!

Our Panthers were busy learning this week in Kindergarten!

In Math, they practiced counting, graphing, and writing the numbers 4 and 5. Our Shining Stars even got to help graph how many items we had!

We also worked hard building and reading CVC words.

We love watching our Panthers learn and grow!
