The New Worlds Reading Initiative is a free Florida literacy program for VPK-grade 5 public school students, including charter school students, not meeting grade-level expectations.

As we wrapped up the school year, we also said goodbye to some very special members of our Pinewood family.

During the last week of school, we celebrated the retirements of Coach Ledford, Mrs. Katrick, Ms. Peaden, Mrs. Mehok, and Mrs. Debaets. Together, they have dedicated more than 115 years to educating, supporting, and caring for children. While we are excited for them as they begin this new chapter, they will be greatly missed by our students, staff, and families.

Thank you for your years of service, dedication, and love for children. Wishing each of you a happy, healthy, and well-deserved retirement! 💚
