Is your tween looking for a mentorship style forest program to augment their homeschooling adventure? The Wild Within is a wonderful place to ground deep and grow together.

Who: Kids ages 10-13
When: Thursdays 8:30-4pm Sept.-June
Where: Tryon Life Community Farm

What:
In this student led, drop off program we hone our wilderness awareness skills, beginning to see, hear, and feel the changing rhythms of the forest around us. We let the forest and our hearts guide us as we learn ancestral bushcraft skills, examine PNW ecology, and build strong community.

Looking for outdoor programming for your 10-13 year old! We've got you covered!

We meet every Thursday at Elk Rock Island for a wilderness apprenticeship style course! We get our hands dirty, our hearts full, and our minds working as we dive deep into ancestral outdoor skills and ways of knowing.

Things we'll do:

Make natural dyes and pigments
Learn animal tracks and signs
Plant identification and preparation
Shelter building
Basketry and cordage
Identifying bird calls and habitats
And so much more
