Check out our Scholastic campaign!

Hi there! I’m Rachel and I own an in-home daycare. I launched this campaign to get more books in my students’ hands by expanding our classroom library. One of the biggest joys of teaching is seeing a student fall in love with a book. But it’s not always easy to get such a wide ranging library ...

Miss Rachel’s Rugrats is looking to build up our library! We are accepting:

— Gently used books (board books, paperbacks, hardcovers)

Or

— Book Store Gift Cards

Or

— Monetary Donations Specifically for Books

The children truly love reading, being read to, or looking at books. I would love to offer more early literacy options.

Please reach out with any questions or concerns. I am simply trying to provide the best experiences possible for the kids in my care, but unfortunately, I cannot afford everything I want to provide. Thank you so much!

With summer fast approaching, I am looking to purchase a bigger wagon for my daycare. I have a two-seater but would love a four-seater. Please reach out if you would like to contribute towards the wagon. The children and I would greatly appreciate it! We want to be able to get out into the neighborhood so much more!

A year ago today, Miss Rachel’s Rugrats opened for business. It was just me and my little BFF (pictured) waiting to see what would unfold. Today, I have 6 children enrolled, children enrolled for future spots, and a waitlist. I cannot believe how far my business has come. Here’s to the future and continuing to grow.

I also want to give a shout out to all those who have helped over this past year to get Miss Rachel’s Rugrats to where it is today. You have all done things, big or small, that have had a tremendous impact on the growth of my business. I want to give the biggest shout out to my mom because there is absolutely no way I would have a business without her undying support. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. It truly means the world.
