Welcoming the Season of Renewal ๐ŸŒฑ

As the days lengthen and the earth begins to stir, we welcome the arrival of spring 2026. This season marks a profound transitionโ€”a time when the seeds of intention planted during the quiet reflection of winter begin to break through the surface. In many communities, spring represents a cycle of renewal, awakening, and the return of life to the land.

Just as the roots of our ancestors provide the foundation for todayโ€™s growth, we see that same strength and vibrancy in our students. This season reminds us that growth is not just an individual journey, but a collective one, nurtured by the wisdom of those who came before us and the energy of the generations to follow. We are honored to walk alongside your families as we witness this season of blooming potential within the North Clackamas School District.

This newsletter remains a dedicated space for our Native American and Alaskan Native families. Our goal is to ensure you have direct access to the resources, cultural programming, and community support that honor your heritage and support your student's success.

We remain deeply grateful for your partnership and for the rich, diverse perspectives you bring to our schools. May this spring bring your family a sense of refreshed energy and connection.

With gratitude ๐Ÿ’œ

A big thank you to the students, families, and community members who joined us to share Indigenous foods and enjoy traditional stories, music, and dance with internationally renowned storyteller Gene Tagaban! We also want to share our gratitude with the Clackamas Native American Student Consortium for organizing the event and for their ongoing dedication to helping our Native students thrive academically while staying connected to their cultural heritage.
