This year's 10th Annual Green & Healthy Schools Conference will be hosted at Morse Middle School for the Gifted and Talented, a Milwaukee Public School that went through a community-driven schoolyard redevelopment process in 2024, in partnership with Milwaukee Public Schools, the Milwaukee Metropolitan Sewerage District - MMSD, the City of Milwaukee, Reflo and other community partners.

On August 7th, attendees will get to experience Morse's transformed outdoor spaces firsthand, including outdoor classrooms, green infrastructure, improved recreation areas, and more. It is a powerful example of what is possible when a school community comes together around a shared vision for a greener, healthier schoolyard.

This year's conference will highlight unique connections between schools and the Milwaukee community, with multiple tracks so attendees can customize their experience. We welcome compelling proposals from educators, community partners, advocates, and anyone passionate about greener, healthier schools.

This year's conference will allow us to highlight a variety of unique connections to schools and the community. We are still in the early planning stages and welcome compelling proposals aligned with several potential conference themes.

Once conference themes are defined, each track of activities will have multiple breakout sessions to allow attendees to customize their conference experience to best fit their interests. These breakout sessions will be located in different spaces across the venue, allowing guests to explore, network with others, and enjoy their time while learning about greener and healthier schools!
