Before the academic year wrapped up, our PepsiCo Uplift Scholars had the opportunity to go behind the scenes at the local PepsiCo Beverage facility!

It was a day full of learning, connection, and inspiration as scholars participated in a thoughtful career Q&A and toured the facility to see careers in Sales, Logistics, Delivery, Supply Chain, and Operations in action.

We are grateful to the PepsiCo Foundation for their continued commitment to supporting Milwaukee Area Technical College students through the PepsiCo Uplift Scholars program!

Each commencement ceremony, a Foundation board member gives their time on behalf of the Board of Directors to share in the moment with students.

We are incredibly grateful to have MATC Foundation Board Member Trevor D'Souza, join us at this weekend's Commencement ceremony, not just to cheer on our graduates, but to actively volunteer and share inspiring words with the Class of 2026!

When our board members step off the stage and into the crowd to support our students, it shows the deep commitment our leadership has to the future workforce of Milwaukee.

Quiana Wilder’s passion for supporting and uplifting young people has made a lasting impact both at MATC and in Milwaukee classrooms. As the Spring 2026 President’s Award recipient, Quiana will graduate Saturday with a degree in Early Childhood Education. Read more at the link in the comments!

Mustafa Yusof will cross the stage Saturday as MATC’s Spring 2026 Outstanding Associate Degree Student and student commencement speaker. After fleeing violence in Myanmar as a child and rebuilding his life with his family in Milwaukee, Yusof found his path at MATC, where he excelled academically, worked in CareerHub, volunteered with local refugee and youth organizations and became the first person in his family to attend college.

Now graduating with an associate degree in Business Management, Yusof is continuing his education at UW-Milwaukee with plans to pursue a career in human resources focused on fairness, communication and supporting others. Read more at the link below!
