The end of the school year can be a hectic, stressful time for students (and teachers). Thanks to Pets Helping People Inc for bringing some very good therapy dogs to help our students (and teachers) ease some of the anxiety that they may be feeling or just enjoy some good pets. It's hard to tell who enjoys this event more each year - the students (and teachers) or the dogs!

We are excited to announce that our annual Senior Spotlight posts will be starting on June 15th!

Today marked our seniors’ final CWSP work day and one final ride to and from work in our CRJ vans. Thank you to all of our CWSP partners who have provided valuable work experience to the Class of 2026 over the last four years! In addition, thank you to all of the CRJ faculty and staff who prepared and served a delicious breakfast to our seniors this morning.

Happy Capstone Day! Congratulations to all 109 seniors who shared their Capstone presentations with their family, friends, classmates, faculty, and CWSP supervisors today. These presentations are reflections on how they have experienced and practiced the school's Grad at Graduation values during their four years at CRJ.

Thank you to Dr. Kris Ropella from Marquette University for being our keynote speaker this morning, and congratulations to senior Monica L. for her winning senior presentation. We enjoyed welcoming so many of our families, CWSP supervisors, and members of the CRJ community who came to support the students. Following the presentations, we held our final all school mass and ended the day with isasicecream!

Special thanks to P.J. DiStefano, Milwaukee Managing Partner of Deloitte and CRJ Board Member, for investing his time, insight, and leadership in the next generation of Trailblazers. Mr. DiStefano met with seven members of the Class of 2026 and three CRJ alumni who were recently named Deloitte Foundation Scholars!

We are proud to celebrate these outstanding students, each of whom has been awarded a Deloitte Foundation Scholarship to pursue degrees in business, technology, and engineering. Congratulations to our scholars, and thank you to Deloitte for helping open doors of opportunity and empowering future leaders!

Thank you to the volunteers from Baird Gives Back - including CRJ alumna Victoria - who spent the day helping to beautify our campus! Service time is a core part of a Cristo Rey Jesuit education, and we are so proud to partner with organizations like Baird who feels the same.

Cristo Rey Jesuit is thrilled to announce Oscar Perea as the winner of the 2026 Outrageously Bold Award, an honor recognizing one extraordinary staff member whose work exemplifies the bold spirit and transformative mission of the Cristo Rey Network! Oscar was selected as the winner as the result of a vote of his fellow faculty and staff members.

Inspired by the Cristo Rey Credo and the words of Cristo Rey Network Chair Emeritus Fr. John Foley, SJ, the Outrageously Bold Award is rooted in a desire to shine a light on those who give their all — with ambition, compassion, and radical hope — to make a lasting difference in the lives of Cristo Rey students.

We definitely saved the best for last as we conclude Staff Appreciation Week at CRJ! Thank you to our incredible CRJ families and community for providing an unending amount of amazing home-cooked dishes for our faculty and staff to enjoy for lunch today! We appreciate all of the support you provide for everyone here at CRJ, and we are grateful for our families.
