📚 Reading Buddies is back!

Our 8th graders and K5 students get together for Reading Buddies — time to share books, practice reading skills, encourage one another, and simply enjoy reading together.

Partners change each time, giving our youngest elementary students a chance to get to know different 8th graders and giving our oldest students opportunities to encourage, help, and connect with the little ones.

It’s reading practice, leadership, friendship, and a little cross-grade fun all rolled into one. 💛

From worship together at Opening Service to sidewalk reunions, new faces and familiar friends to classroom moments, ... it was a good first week at Saint Lucas.

We’re grateful for the students and families God has brought together here—and so glad to be back. ❤
