Hot off the presses from the Martin Luther College Call Day service—we’re thrilled to announce that the Lord has provided Miss Julia Hallman as our new 4th grade teacher! Julia is from Watertown, Wisconsin, so she won’t be far from home and family as she begins her ministry right here in Bay View.

At a time when called workers are few and the need is great, we are truly grateful. You may remember that Mr. Schroeder received his assignment to Saint Lucas through this same process last May, and we can all agree that he has been such a generous addition and strong presence.

Let’s give Miss Hallman a warm Saint Lucas welcome as she prepares to join our congregation and school family. 🥰

Join us for a joyful double feature as our Preschoolers bring "The Very Hungry Caterpillar" to life with color, charm, and lots of wiggles — followed by our K5–2nd graders starring in the musical "E-I-E-I-Oops!," a delightful barnyard adventure full of music, mishaps, and heart.💓

K5–8th grade students ran, tossed, jumped, hid, and giggled their way through a day full of sunshine, friends, and healthy competition! 💪☀️ From relay races to team games, students showed great sportsmanship, and simply enjoyed being kids.

It was more than just a day of games—it was a celebration of our school community, joy, and the love that makes Saint Lucas a place to grow, play, and belong. 💙

Welcome Ms. Laura Zank! 💙💛💙

We’re so excited to announce that Ms. Laura Zank will be joining our Saint Lucas team as our new 2nd-grade teacher! She’s currently finishing her student teaching and her course of study at Wisconsin Lutheran College. She spent a day with us in April to get to know our students, school culture, and staff. Ms. Zank clearly brings a kind heart, a love for teaching, and a passion for ministry—you can see it in her smile! We can’t wait to welcome her this summer! 👩‍🎓🎓🌟

We will be going to the Assignment Committee for a Martin Luther College graduate to fill our 4th grade position. Call Day is Saturday, May 17.

🌿 This Sunday morning we joyfully welcomed seven newly confirmed young members into communicant fellowship! Following a thorough and thougtful study of Christian doctrine, they’ve affirmed their faith—and we're excited to witness them grow in grace, love, and service. God’s richest blessings on each of you! 💛
