We're excited to announce a special, invitation-only performance by cellist, singer, and composer Anna Fritz! An alumna of the String Academy from the 1990s, Anna is now based in Portland, Oregon. She has composed an original score for a modern retelling of an Ancient Greek epic, performed alongside a single actor. They've been sharing this powerful work with audiences in prisons and public venues across the country.

Highly qualified artist faculty provide musical instruction based on the methods and philosophies of Mimi Zweig, Shinichi Suzuki, and Paul Rolland. The special training, experience, and expertise of the SAW faculty in the musical training of young people results in students playing with technical ease and musical sensitivity. SAWโs summer teacher training workshops are attended by string players from across the United States, Canada and Europe.
