Our students will perform as part of the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra’s Milwaukee Musician Showcase on Friday, May 15 at 6:00 p.m.

We are very excited to be performing with the UWM Symphony Orchestra! Please come and hear our students play the Vivaldi Concerto of 2 Violins - Fri Dec 5th, 7:30 PM, Zelazo.

Join the UWM Symphony Orchestra for a vibrant and seasonally inspired program celebrating the spirit of December. The evening opens with the Baroque energy of J.S. Bach’s Orchestral Suite No. 3, followed by Vivaldi’s Concerto for Two Violins, featuring a group of outstanding young violinists from the UWM String Academy.

The program continues with Ravel’s charming and imaginative Mother Goose Suite (Ma mère l’Oye), bringing beloved fairy tales to life through color and storytelling. The concert concludes with the festive elegance of Johann Strauss II’s Kaiser-Walzer, capturing the warmth and joy of the holiday season.

We invite you to join us for an evening of beautiful music, exceptional artistry, and musical traditions that uplift and inspire.

String Academy faculty member Jamie Hofman will be performing alongside UWM faculty Todd Levy (clarinet), Elena Abend (piano), Adrien Zitoun (cello), and Bernard Zinck (violin) in the upcoming Chamber Music Milwaukee concert, Times of War.

Jamie will be honored to perform on one of the Violins of Hope - a violin that survived the Holocaust and carries the stories of its past players. It’s a powerful program, and we hope you can join us.
