Milwaukee, we’re POURING POSSIBILITIES for local students!

On Monday, August 31, Mayor Cavalier Johnson and MPS Superintendent Dr. Brenda Cassellius are trading City Hall and the classroom for a spot behind the bar at Blu on the 23rd floor of The Pfister Hotel — all to help raise money for Milwaukee’s Finest Scholarships!

The Mayor and Superintendent will be our special guests behind the bar from 5:30–6:30 p.m., and the celebration continues until 7:30 p.m.

Best of all, this event is FREE and open to the public!

100% of tips + a portion of bar sales will support scholarships for Milwaukee Public Schools students this upcoming school year.

Come after work. Bring your friends and coworkers. Enjoy one of the best views in Milwaukee. Grab a drink. And, of course… leave a GOOD tip! 😉

**Today is the day!**

Tonight, we celebrate our 2026 Milwaukee’s Finest Scholars at our 10-Year Anniversary Scholarship Awards Celebration! Over the past several weeks, we have proudly introduced each of our scholars as we prepare to honor their achievements and celebrate the bright futures ahead of them.

This year, a record-breaking 552 students applied for the Milwaukee’s Finest Scholarship, making this our most competitive scholarship cycle in our organization’s history.

Congratulations to Taylor Pitta, one of just 10 students selected to receive the 2026 Milwaukee’s Finest Scholarship. A proud graduate of Whitnall High School, Taylor plans to major in Political Science on a Pre-Law Track this fall at Marquette University.

Taylor’s scholarship is proudly sponsored by the Mastantuono Coffee & Thomas Scholarship Fund.

We’re continuing our countdown to Friday’s 10-Year Anniversary Scholarship Awards Celebration by highlighting another outstanding member of our 2026 Milwaukee’s Finest Scholar class!

This year, a record-breaking 552 students applied for the Milwaukee’s Finest Scholarship, making it the most competitive scholarship cycle in our organization’s history.

Congratulations to MaLeyah Cornelius, one of 10 students selected to receive the 2026 Milwaukee’s Finest Scholarship. As a proud graduate of Dominican High School, MaLeyah will attend Xavier University of Louisiana this fall, where she plans to major in Biology on a Pre-Med track as she pursues a future in medicine.

As a proud graduate of Golda Meir High School, Jackson will attend Northwestern University this fall, where he plans to major in Psychology and Biological Sciences with a minor in Sociology.

Since the beginning, both Mrs. Alexander and Mrs. Grayson have shared their time, talent, mentorship, and support to help empower our scholars and strengthen our mission. We are honored to present the 2026 Student Empowerment Award to both of them. Thank you for your continued belief in our students, our vision, and the future of Milwaukee’s Finest.

Congratulations to Alexander Egerson, one of 10 students selected to receive the 2026 Milwaukee’s Finest Scholarship. As a proud graduate of Marquette University High School, Alexander plans to pursue a future in healthcare by majoring in Nursing in the fall of 2026. He will be attending the University of Alabama at Birmingham, and his scholarship is proudly sponsored by the Andre X. Douglas Scholarship Fund.
