Did you know Wisconsin has the highest rates of binge drinking?

Stop by the Wellness Center table in the Campus Center 3rd floor this week from 12-2 to experiment with beer goggles and learn healthy drinking habits.

Ever wonder what you should do in a situation when someone is being bullied or harrssed? Here is this week's tip to help!
The Do's and Don'ts for Bystander Intervention
DO:
✓ keep both of you safe
✓ do make your presence as a witness known
✓ do take cues from the individual being harassed

DON'T:
✖ call the police
✖ escalate the situation
✖ do nothing

this week is all about study tips and how to rock your first round of exams!
Some common study pitfalls include:
✖ cramming the night before
✖ not getting extra help
✖ allowing study groups to turn into social groups
✖ giving in to distractions
✖ not getting enough sleep

To work on these pitfalls, come visit us at the Wellness Center. Also academic advisors are available for drop in advising in the CC from 10am-12pm Mon-Thurs.

» expressing hopelessness, guilt, worthlessness
» dramatic mood swings or personality changes
» lack of interest in usual activity or future plans
» increased drug or alcohol use
» feeling trapped, no way out
» isolating from family, friends, and society
» giving away prized possessions
