5 recent RHS graduates and Frau S traveled to Milwaukee for the annual Gerrmanfest celebration last Sunday. We represented the Austrian-American Society of Milwaukee, answering travel and history questions at the Culture Booth and servin' up some mean Gulasch and Schweinesbraten at their food booth.

So hard to believe, but it was exactly 1 year ago today when the bright yellow school bus filled with Austrians pulled up in front of Ripon High School and our first RHS/BRG Schloss Traunsee student exchange began! :) Thank you to everyone on both sides of the Atlantic who made the exchange such a fantastic experience for all!

On July 26th and 27th, a group of Austrian Exchange participants plus RHS German Club students represented our exchange trip at the Austrian American Society of Milwaukee's booth at Germanfest. Many thanks to the students who created the beautiful display boards and especially to those who put in long but fun days of volunteer work at our booth! Thanks to the Austrian American Society for inviting us to join in and of course for their generous donation to our new exchange program, from which all of the 7 student attendees benefited!
