๐ฃ๏ธ Associate Professor Dr. Emily Cramer shared her expertise at the Milwaukee VA Women's Health Summit this summer. Her presentation, "Communicating Resilience in Maternal Health," focused on affirming identity, establishing routines and building networks of support to improve pregnancy health outcomes.
๐ In addition to her research, Cramer leads our health communication minor, which equips students with the written, verbal, strategic and medical knowledge required to be ethical communicators.

We are saddened to report that Dave Foran, an emeritus professor in the then-College of Journalism, died at the age of 89.
Foran taught print, broadcast news and feature writing at the college while also serving in Marquette's public relations department. He is a Class of 1959 graduate and a former Marquette Tribune sports editor.
Please hold the Foran family in your prayers.

โญ๏ธ Weโre continuing our superstar intern series with Anna Heffernan, who is working with Friends of Hank Aaron State Trail this summer.
๐ฑ Her social media chair role entails documenting summer events in Milwaukee for multiple platforms. She takes photos, edits video and manages accounts for one of the cityโs most important environmental nonprofits.
๐ฉโ๐ When sheโs not interning, Anna is a leader for SPARK pre-orientation, an alumni ambassador and the social media chair for art club.
