Summer: A time for service 😊

Faculty, staff and our visiting researcher put in some time volunteering at Markept.

Markept offers gently used goods to students during move-in for drastically reduced prices, helping to create a more sustainable university. A worthy cause for a few spare hands from the College of Comm!

Before we had our state-of-the-art recording space on the second floor of Johnston, we had the basement radio studio. 📻

Who has fond memories of hosting a show from here?

Got an equipment problem? Live broadcast feed not working the way it should? Need some help learning Adobe After Effects?

Hundreds of students over nearly nine years have had the same reaction to these issues: Call Don.

We're so proud to see Don Hertz, our manager of technical services, receive a staff excellence award for his outstanding service to the college and to Marquette University. Anyone who has spent significant time around the College of Comm knows just how above and beyond Don goes for our students, and how little credit he ever seeks for it.

Congratulations, Don! After so much time behind the camera, you deserve your moment in front of it 😄
