This weekend included our first set of spring team practices, and the first Advising & Career navigation session, hosted by Jordan Boehlke, our 2010 Head Coach and co-owner of Lakefront Hockey Group LLC.
Great first session that introduced what advising and career navigation is, stressed the importance of academics, and how good grades can open doors for hockey players, and provided details on how to set long and short term goals.
The session was recorded, and we'll share details with our spring teams on how to access the recording over the next few days.

New in 2023, an introduction to advising and career navigation will be provided by Jordan Boehlke, our 2010 Head Coach and co-owner of Lakefront Hockey Group LLC to players that make our Spring Teams.
Advising and career navigation sessions will be hosted via an online meeting on Sundays and will be structured around the following topics:
Introduction & Academics
Mindset
Career Navigation & Networking
Nutrition
Physical & Skill Development
These online sessions are ideal for the 2011 birth year players and above, but will be open to all Honey Badgers spring players.
