The Girls on the Run 5K was this weekend! Here are some of our 95th Street runners with their running buddies. We are so proud of our Girls on the Run team and how hard they worked this Spring to meet their goals! A big thank you to Coach Hayes, Coach Shields, and Coach Thompson for making Girls on the Run a reality at 95th Street School!

4th grade headed to High-Gem Holsteins & Normandes farm in Neosho yesterday. They learned about agriculture and farming. They rotated through different stations to learn about farm machinery, calves, how a cow gets milked, nutrition, different types of feed, and incorporated some teamwork games. They had a great time!

3rd grade completed a three week unit on animal life cycles today. Students researched an animal of their choice and made informative posters to describe each life cycle stage. Yesterday students presented in small groups and gave feedback to their peers.

K4 - 2nd grades went to the movie the Pout Pout Fish last week Friday! It was a fun PBIS outing that tied into a popular book our students have read.

30 of our fourth grade students participated in Mad Hot Rhythm since the beginning of January. Today was the competition and our students made it to the semi finals in Tap and Tango! Way to go, 4th grade dancers! We are so proud of you!

3rd grade went to Ag Discovery Day at Wisconsin State Fair. Students participated in immersive, hands-on educational activities that taught them about Wisconsin's farming industries. It was a lot of fun!

Student Council participated in a community clean up yesterday for Earth Day! These student leaders did an amazing job making our school grounds and community shine. Thank you to Ms. Krueger, our School Social Worker, for coordinating this event!

Yesterday, 5th grade students did a draw along with Dav Pilkey, the author of the Dog Man and Captain Underpants books. We think their drawings turned out great!

Congratulations to our very own Mrs. Jaime Mutz who was selected as a 2026 Herb Kohl Educational Foundation Teacher Fellow! Fellowship recipients and their school each receive a $6,000 grant. Way to go, Mrs. Mutz! You truly inspire a love of learning in your students.
