Misgendering happens to cis-gender people too because of societal bias.

Assuming someone’s role, ethnicity or gender based on how they look damages our ability to foster respectful and trusting relationships.

“It’s wild the amount of requests for business or donations I receive from people and companies assuming I’m a white man because of my name. It feels extractive and offensive all at the same time.”

- CEO August M Ball (a Black cis-gender woman)

Meet Troy Michael Gonsalves, Career + Employer Branding Strategist and Astrologer for high-performing, purpose-driven professionals. Troy will take us on a journey on how he leveraged publicly accessible data to increase diversified talent pools and increase team engagement. His innovative practices will inspire you to look at recruitment differently and help you elevate your talent-sourcing strategies.

2016 - 2019 saw the lowest unemployment in Canada in 50+ years. It was during that time he led the recruitment of more that 1200+ aviation professionals at all levels for one of Canada's top airlines in a period of scarce recruitment resources within a highly competitive industry, not known for its extravagant salaries.

Join us for this upcoming Cream City Conservation J.E.D.I Speaker Series, featuring Troy Gonsalves Nov 15th @ 11 a.m. CST! 🎙️

We recently spoke with her about the progress she is seeing in Wisconsin.
