In preparation for Asian American and Pacific Islander month (AAPI) we are featuring "Stargazing" on our bookshelf! This graphic novel tells the story of two young unlikely friends from the same Chinese-American suburb. The book has been hailed for its honest representation of Asian American communities and characters, and it is also a story about friendship, loss, social and physical challenges, and ultimately hope. While the reading level is more suitable for lower reading levels, it is still a story that can be enjoyed by all ages. Check out our bookshelf blog soon for more information!
